Born from a few local friends’ shared love of live music- and frustration with its absence on the Westside- The Venice West was created to be the kind of venue we always wished existed. After five years and a pandemic, that dream became reality.

Our name is a tribute to the “Venice West” Beat scene of the 1950s and ’60s- a time when Venice was a haven for poets, musicians, and artists. We aim to carry that creative spirit forward by offering a warm, welcoming space for music lovers and performers alike.
